First Tee of Cleveland announcement regarding Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
First Tee’s top priority is the health and safety of our participants, employees and volunteers. We have been monitoring all available information related to the continued spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). After reviewing the relevant updates from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization and state and local health departments, we deem it best to err with extreme caution.
It is our obligation to proactively put the health and safety of both youth and adults first and do our part to help minimize the spread of this virus and the impact it will have on our nation’s health system and our community.
Effective immediately (March 12, 2020), we have made the following program changes:
- FIT TO A TEE: We have postponed our Fit To a Tee cooking program until further notice. This includes the field trip planned for March 14.
- CADDIE TRAINING PROGRAM: We have cancelled the remaining three Caddie Training classes. We can either convert your registration fee to a tax-deductible contribution or provide a refund if requested (less a $5 administrative fee to cover the costs of payment processing). If you require a refund, please contact Paula Domzalski at email@example.com by March 20th.
- SPRING YOUTH GOLF PROGRAMS: Spring programs (originally scheduled for April 6 – May 22) are cancelled for all locations.
Beyond programming, we will practice “social distancing” for the protection of all. We greatly appreciate your flexibility and patience as we navigate this unprecedented circumstance together. We will continue to monitor this ever-changing situation and keep you updated as information becomes available.
