First Tee - Cleveland is reaching out to its supporters with a special initiative.  

#GivingTuesdayNow is a new global day of giving and unity taking place on December 1, 2020 #GivingTuesday – as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.The day is designed to drive an influx of generosity, citizen engagement, business and philanthropy activation, and support for communities and nonprofits around the world.  At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together across the globe. Generosity gives everyone power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value anyone can act on.  First Tee - Cleveland has been affected by the pandemic just like all non-profits that have experienced lost revenues from cancelled programs and fundraisers. Only 7% of our annual revenues are generated from program fees.  Our team has been working hard to continue to deliver programs : ·         Golf skill drills and education ·         Core value behavior challenges ·         Family engagement activities ·         Literacy components ·         STEM activities ·         Other supplemental activities   We will continue to be innovative in creating new ways to serve local youth with all the appropriate social distancing and safety rules in place.  Kids today need the First Tee core values and life skills curriculum now more than ever. Our programs are not only life enrichment; they are becoming life essential.
