We are excited to announce our 2023 Program line-up.  We invite kids and teens (ages 6-18) from across Greater Cleveland to participate with us for some fun and friendship on the fairways!

If your child is interested in making friends, being outside, learning about golf, improving golf skills, or having fun, then we are the program for you! In a safe environment, participants will seamlessly learn from trained coaches all about First Tee’s Core Values and Life Skills.

No equipment is needed as we will provide everything a young person needs to learn and enjoy the great game of golf — including their very own golf shirt and hat!

Our program locations include:  Washington Golf Course in Newburgh Heights, Briardale Greens in Euclid, Grantwood Golf Course in Solon, Meadowood Golf Course in Westlake, and Black Brook Golf Course in Mentor.

In winter months, we will have Fit to a Tee and Caddie Training as well as hosting programs at ProXimity Golf Lounge in Cleveland Heights.

The First Tee – Cleveland uses the online registration platform known as Salesforce. This transition will help us track your child’s progression throughout the First Tee program, allow an easy way to navigate and register for classes, and a seamless check out process. Along with all of our participant information, the platform will also help us keep record of our coaches and their progress within the chapter, as well as coach training.

Why Golf?

Golf is unique from other sports because players learn values like honesty and responsibility by calling penalties on themselves and reporting their own score. The sport is a perfect platform for helping young people develop character because just like in life, players experience the highs and lows of the game.
